The altered nature of knowledge in Immanuel Kant in the pre-critical stage:

The approach that has currently been tried to reveal about psychopathology from the biomedical model by disciplines such as psychology and psychiatry, has formally outlined these distinctions when investigating erratic behaviors and psycho-emotional manifestations in humans. Philosophy, therefore, has not been exempt from rethinking the way in which the human being is thought, either in its normative margins or in otherness. Immanuel Kant looked -within his important philosophical period- at these problems, but in a superficial way in a short essay entitled "Essay on diseases of the head" (1764) where he explored from his vision the problem of inverted reason. The proposal of the present investigation seeks to find the scope of this proposal by the philosopher Koninsberg and the biologist rereading that authors such as Konrad Lorenz and Franz Wuketits proposed as initiators of the Evolutionary Theory of Knowledge.

On the anthropological nature of Kant's assertion: “man is evil (universally) by nature”

In “Religion within the Limits of Mere Reason”, Kant makes the claim that “man is evil by nature”. This claim has led to misunderstandings in the literature on several levels. One such misunderstanding stems from the lack of attention given to the fact that Kant attempts to prove this claim through an "anthropological investigation”. On the other hand, it is common to interpret this passage through readings such as Allison's, who argues that the proof is a priori and, thus, lacks empirical elements. However, proponents of both positions believe they have textual evidence to support their arguments. In this sense, based on Forschner's argument, it is proposed that the proof is, in fact, anthropological in nature, and there is no textual or systemic evidence to support Allison's position.

The Argument of Humanity as an End in Itself in the Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals

Recent debates on the humanity formula of the categorical imperative attempt to understand the conceptual inputs of this formula on the basis of Kantian works which are not the Foundations of the Metaphysics of Morals itself. This procedure is based on the false assumption that in the GMS there is no clear or concrete meaning of what is embodied in terms such as humanity (Mensch) or end in itself (Zweck an sich selbst). By virtue of the above, in this paper, I will seek to analyse carefully and in detail what Kant has to say concretely in GMS AA IV 427₁₉-428_33,since there is an argumentation that builds progressively from the notion of end to the equivalence of rational nature as an end in itself, which I consider to be central to a proper understanding of the formula of humanity presented later.

The metaphorical idea of epigenesis of reason in the Critique of pure reason: an interpretation in light of Kantian racial theory

In this paper I offer an interpretation of the metaphorical idea of epigenesis of reason that Immanuel Kant introduced in §27 in the second edition of his Critique of pure reason. Such an interpretation is made in light of Kantian racial theory, which is used in order to explain the spontaneity of the categories of understanding (as conditions of the experience) in analogy to the Kantian explanation on the origins of human races. For this purpose I explain three things: 1) that such a metaphor must be understood within the goal of transcendental deduction of the categories, 2) that such a metaphor refers to the coincidence between concepts and experience, and 3) that Kant defends an idea of epigenesis with preformationist connotations from his concerns about the origins of human races.

This research proposes a review of the idea of the apocalyptic present in Tatsuki Fujimoto's Fire Punch from the representation that is made in it of the eschatological and the scope that the idea of the apocalyptic has within the story. Thus, the actions and motivations of the characters in this work will be analyzed according to the meaning of the destruction portrayed in the work. For this there are two central moments of the investigation: first, the problematization of the apocalyptic and the scope that this phenomenon has in this manga (Deleuze, Kant and Parkinson Zamora) and second, the appearance of presence and absence in Fire Punch (Heidegger, Derrida, Fisher) and its illuminating or revealing function.

This article deals with Daniela Catrileo's writing strategy. It proposes to review the elaboration of the concept of piñen by examining the relationship between language and coloniality, in order to thereby highlight the political and vindicatory potential it entails in the novel of the same name Piñen (2019). Such hypothesis will articulate the reading exercise proposed here, mainly attending to the narrative strategies employed -the use of a polylinguism that breaks grammatical structures- to decenter language from its colonial determinism. Thus, we interpret this writing strategy in consonance with the micro-political and decolonizing powers of art described by Suely Rolnik and, consequently, betting on the possibility of diagramming a minority becoming that disputes the imaginaries of the colonial-capital unconscious.

The purpose of the present writing is to investigate what is the relationship between thought and human life, understood as a vital project in Ortega’s philosophy. With this argumentative exercise is wanted, on the one hand, an appropriate delimitation of the significance of the thought and, on the other hand, to set up precisely that the topic of the thought is an element of systematic value that is united to the matter of the problematic value that presents the human life in Ortega’s reflections. This will be reflected in the possible connections that can be established between “Apuntes sobre el pensamiento: su teúrgia y su demiurgia” and the rest of the orteguian corpus. Thus, we will take charge of the topic of the role of thought in Ortega’s philosophical approach.

This text examines Jean-Luc Marion's alteration of Kantian subjectivity. Marion challenges the notion of a stable and autonomous subject, arguing that the subject must be in constant relation with the excessive and the other. He rejects the Cartesian ego cogito and seeks a reconception of being in relation to the other and the transcendent. Marion emphasizes the importance of love as the center of subjectivity and suggests that the subject's primary concern is not self-subsistence but love and being loved. The text explores the implications of this perspective in relation to temporality and phenomenological manifestation. Marion proposes a reconfiguration of the subject that is revealed in the relation with the excessive and the co-constitution with the other.
